Read: Part I “The Set-up” and “Paradigms and Principles” (3-28)
Reflect: (Post your response to the prompt below by Monday morning.)
Please start by briefly introducing yourself (first name and what you will be teaching next year).
AND
Explain how the concept of paradigm could be incorporated into one or more lessons that you teach. What are paradigms students have about themselves, your content, or school that you might want to help them shift? What paradigms do you want them to be exposed to?
AND
The book also talks about principles such as honesty and fairness. Which principles are most important in your classroom? How might you include relevant Future Ready Skills (Conscientious Worker, Quality Producer, Collaborative Teammate, Community Contributor) as principles for your classroom?
Interact: On Monday, read your colleagues' reflections, and respond to at least one other post by sharing a comment, insight, or interesting possibility by next Thursday.
